ATRA accepts position postings that include the following criteria:
- Registered Professional Member of ATRA (or in the case of postings from other provinces, membership in the provincial Therapeutic Recreation association), and
- Professional competencies such as assessment, intervention/treatment planning, supervision/leadership to a therapy team, critical thinking, judgment, documentation, research, evaluation, program development, case management, etc.
or
- Summer student positions that list the qualification that the student be a member of ATRA.
Though we recognize the integral role aides, assistants and other positions in recreation offer in supporting the practice of Therapeutic Recreation, we are unable to post such positions on the ATRA website.
